Dmitriy Vlasov is Portfolio Advisor and advises on the China A-shares strategy and mandates. He joined East Capital in 2007 as Head of Real Estate Research in Moscow. In 2011 he joined the Asia team as Senior Analyst and was promoted to Portfolio Manager in 2013.

Prior to East Capital, Dmitriy was Head of Valuation for Russia and CIS at Jones Lang LaSalle in Moscow, Chief Representative of the Shanghai office of Thor Group and Equity Research Analyst at Security Global Investors in the US. Dmitry has an MBA from the University of Kansas and a BSc in Economics from St Petersburg State Technical Marine University. Dmitriy is adjunct professor at Hangzhou Normal University where he teaches “Investment and Applied Portfolio Management” course. He is a CFA charterholder. Dmitriy speaks English, Russian and conversational Mandarin.
